About
Rogue Clay, Memorial Vessels, Clay Urns, and other clay offerings.
Memorial vessels are thrown containers that are bisque fired and then a glaze is applied. Before the glaze fire I mix your loved one’s/ones’ ashes with a metal oxide stain and lovingly place them in the base of the vessel. When fired, the glaze adheres and the ashes burn out of the stain, often creating a felt sense at the interior base of your vessel. Where you can feel what was once there. Just like you may experience your grief of your loved one/ones.
I also make clay urns. Photos on request.
All clay offerings are donation based offerings.
This photo is of the memorial vessels I made for my mom. I mailed them out to her community so that we could collectively hold her, feel her, and be with her literally, after she passed away.
