Welcome to Drawbridge Counseling and thank you for taking the time to discover if my services may be of help for you.

I am very passionate about the work that I do with my clients.  I have worked for over 15 years in the counseling and helping professions, with adults, children, and families going through transitions and crises. Drawbridge Counseling is my private practice where I work primarily with adults who are suffering from trauma, depression, anxiety, loss, PTSD, grief, interpersonal relationship problems, communication difficulties, transition, and any combination of these.  I utilize EMDR and Hakomi, a body centered therapy. I am an art therapist but not all of my clients do art. You can read more about Art Therapy here.  I work 1 on 1, individually, with adults.

I also provide supervision for graduates and clinicians working to acquire their full licensure and ATR (art therapy registration). I have supervised new and seasoned therapists  for 6 years and utilize many theories in my supervisory style including psycho-dynamic/analytic, mindfulness, and many theoretical orientations of art therapy.

Drawbridge Counseling is located inside of the One Earth Natural Medicine Clinic in downtown Burien, just 15 minutes from downtown Seattle.

What do the letters after my name mean? I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)  in the state of Washington and a nationally Registered Art Therapist, Board Certified (ATR-BC). I received my Master's Degree in Psychology and Art Therapy (MA) in 2008.
